Description

Intel Core i3-7100 is a Kaby Lake desktop processor for the LGA1151 socket. Hyper-Threading lets its two cores handle four threads at a fixed 3.90 GHz; this model does not support Turbo Boost. It has 3 MB of Intel Smart Cache and a 51 W TDP. The dual-channel memory controller supports up to 64 GB of DDR4-2133/2400 or 1.35 V DDR3L-1333/1600 memory. A discrete graphics card can use 16 PCIe 3.0 lanes. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 630 runs at 350–1100 MHz and supports up to three displays. The processor is intended for Intel 100 and 200 series motherboards, and some 100 series boards may require a BIOS update. It is not compatible with 300 series boards despite the shared LGA1151 socket name.
