Description

Intel Core i9-9900K BOX is a Coffee Lake desktop processor for the LGA1151 socket. Its eight cores and sixteen threads run at a 3.60 GHz base frequency and boost up to 5.00 GHz. It has 16 MB of Intel Smart Cache and a 95 W TDP. The dual-channel controller supports up to 128 GB of DDR4-2666 memory, and sixteen PCIe 3.0 lanes are available for a discrete graphics card. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 runs at 350–1200 MHz and supports up to three displays. The unlocked multiplier allows frequency tuning on a compatible motherboard, while overclocking requires suitable power delivery and cooling. Coffee Lake requires a compatible LGA1151 motherboard, typically with an Intel 300-series chipset, and appropriate BIOS support. Intel specifies that the boxed product does not include a fan or heat sink.
