Description

AMD Ryzen 9 5900X is an unlocked Zen 3 desktop processor for socket AM4. It has 12 cores and 24 threads, a 3.7 GHz base clock, Precision Boost up to 4.8 GHz, 64 MB of L3 cache and a 105 W TDP. AMD recommends liquid cooling for optimal operation, and no stock cooler is included. The memory controller supports dual-channel DDR4 at an official speed of up to 3200 MT/s; actual capacity, speed and overclocking depend on the motherboard, BIOS and modules. The processor uses PCIe 4.0. There is no integrated graphics, so a discrete graphics card is required.
