Description

Intel Core i7-11700 is a Rocket Lake desktop processor for the LGA1200 socket. Its eight cores and sixteen threads run at a 2.50 GHz base frequency. Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 raises frequency to 4.80 GHz, while Turbo Boost Max 3.0 reaches 4.90 GHz. It has 16 MB of Intel Smart Cache and a 65 W TDP. The dual-channel controller supports up to 128 GB of DDR4-3200. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 750 runs at up to 1.30 GHz and supports as many as three displays; available resolutions depend on the motherboard video outputs. The processor provides up to 20 PCIe 4.0 lanes. A build requires an LGA1200 motherboard with confirmed Core i7-11700 support, and compatibility and BIOS version should be checked against the motherboard vendor list.
