Description

Intel Core i3-8100 is an 8th Gen Coffee Lake desktop processor for LGA1151. It has 4 cores and 4 threads, a fixed 3.60 GHz base clock with no Turbo Boost, 6 MB of Smart Cache and a 65 W TDP. Its dual-channel controller supports up to 64 GB of DDR4-2400; the actual capacity and ECC support depend on the motherboard. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 runs at 350–1100 MHz and supports up to three displays, while the available display outputs are determined by the board. The processor provides 16 PCIe 3.0 lanes. Despite sharing the LGA1151 name, Core i3-8100 requires an Intel 300 Series chipset motherboard with a compatible BIOS.
